Microneedling has really no significant downtime! There is some redness that can take a couple of days to go away, but that is about it.
Is it safe for people with active acne?
In the case of active acne or cystic acne, the specific area with acne is avoided. It is best to book a consultation session in case of severe acne.
Can Microneedling be added to a facial?
No, Microneedling cannot be added to another facial.
Is Microneedling recommended for those with compromised skin barrier?
If the skin barrier is compromised, Microneedling is not recommended. It is best to restore your skin barrier and revisit this treatment later.
Results, when will I see any?
You will see results within four to six weeks depending on your body's cell turnover. During this time, your body will produce collagen + elastin and fill the micro-channels. Revealing younger, healthier skin.
How many sessions are needed to get rid of acne scarring?
It is recommended to have a series of sessions to see results. Generally, 3-4 sessions are recommended and in case of deeper scarring, you may need 3-6 treatment sessions.
