Calendula Essential Hydrating Cream
A nourishing, deeply moisturizing cream that contains anti-inflammatory calendula extract to soothe dry, sensitive skin and conditioning borage seed oil to help soften the skin.
Details
This rich but non-greasy cream is one of our staff favourites! It is a deeply moisturizing cream that is extremely reparative and features super-hydrating ingredients that will delight dry, sensitive, and/or eczema-prone skin types.
Calendula belongs to the same family as Arnica and is traditionally used in European countries to repair slow-to-heal wounds, mild burns, and eczema-prone dry skin.
Trehalose is a naturally-occurring saccharide that presents a strong defense against the harshest climate conditions, making this an especially great cream for the winter. It also helps protect the skin's fibroblast from dehydration by replacing water in the tissue, effectively retaining the natural structure of the skin.
Borage Seed Oil is a rich source of gamma-linolenic acid that increases lipid protection and is known for its soothing, anti-inflammatory, and skin-conditioning properties.
