About This Treatment
Recommended for Congested and Oily Skin Types
Duration: Approx. 30 mins
This treatment is excellent for diminishing pigmentation, refining skin texture and treating acne scars while providing a youthful appearance. The strength of the AFA Peel used will be chosed by your esthetician based on your current skin condition. AFA Peels do not cause photosensitivity like other traditional chemical peels.
- Your skin will be thoroughly cleansed
- The AFA Gel Peel will be applied to your skin and a cool towel compress will be applied once it’s removed.
- Finishing products are applied including a serum, oil, and moisturizer selected for your skin type
Please note that treatments do not include traditional facial components such as extractions, massage, and masks.

Pre-Treatment Care
Refrain from using any retinol or acid based products 3 days before your facial. For a more successful facial that better delivers your expectations, the following is recommended:
- Check your current skincare products for retinols, BHAs, or AHAs to properly inform your esthetican during your consultation

Post-Treatment Care
How to Maintain Your Results
1. Follow your esthetician’s home care recommendations. Most home care will include a cleanser, serum, oil and moisturizer
2. Maintain your skincare routine in between facial treatments
3. SPF is advised to wear daily, but it is especially important to be worn 3-4 days post peel
