All day Thursday July 23rd and Friday July 24th, Pure + simple Waterloo will be offering a special facial: The Beauty in You ($85). This extraction-free facial combines a classic European Facial with an extended hand + arm massage as well as a mini Oxygen treatment. The best part? 100% of the facial price will be donated to the Kitchener-Waterloo House of Friendship’s Girls in Leadership program!
The Girls in Leadership program, which was named by the girls themselves, supports + enhances physical, emotional, and psychological health through a variety of activities designed to build self-esteem, self-confidence, and leadership skills for pre-adolescent and adolescent girls living on low income who typically would not have this kind of opportunity.

“After meeting the girls of the Girls in Leadership program, we could tell that this program is a life-changing experience for them. It inspires them to be strong, social, and confident. They were so happy to be a part of it and you could tell that they were comfortable being with their friends and the program leaders. A program like Girls in Leadership is so important for young girls: they have a support system they can turn to, they get to participate in activities they may not normally do, and they are encouraged to shine as a leader in their own way. We also feel like InSPAration is able to bring awareness to people in the community who may not know about the programs that House of Friendship offers. As women ourselves we are honoured and privileged to support + raise awareness to such an impactful program that is happening in the Kitchener Waterloo community.”
