Photo Rejuvenation

IPL is a highly versatile, safe and effective Light Treatment, which involves light pulses penetrating deep into the skin to stimulate collagen production. This results in an improvement in the appearance of our skin by reducing fine linesredness, acne, enlarged pores, and hyperpigmentation.

It was first introduced to dermatology 20 years ago in Europe, and has since been popular for reversing skin aging. Backed up with data and studies from over the last 20 years, the latest technology can drastically improve your skin's health.

IPL treatment includes the use of intense light pulses which penetrate deep into the skin. This causes collagen and blood vessels below the epidermis to constrict, reducing redness and age lines. This treatment produces excellent long-term results, which reduces the appearance of facial lines, redness from broken capillaries, skin pigmentation, acne, and scarring.

The number of treatments needed to attain the desired results depends on the IPL machine and the skill of the technician. With the latest IPL technology, results are visible after the first session and drastic improvements can be seen after only 5-8 treatments.

Treatments can be clinical in nature but the best results are achieved when combined with a professional facial, a cooling collagen mask, and a relaxing massage.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: How does light-based technology work?

A: Light-based technology is based on a method called "selective photothermolysis", which works by selective destruction of a specified target without damaging surrounding tissue. When treating textural complaints such as fine wrinkles and large pores, the light stimulates the growth of collagen which makes the skin glow and more youthful.

Q: Are IPL treatments painful?

A: No. During the procedure, a light, a momentary stinging sensation may be felt, but not pain.
