Photo Rejuvenation

IPL skin rejuvenation treatment gives a younger, glowing look to your skin. It simultaneously treats the three main elements of sun-damaged, environmentally-polluted and aging skin by coagulating blood vessels, eliminating pigmented spots and improving skin texture. Skin rejuvenation treatments are suitable for the face, neck, chest and hands; treating sun spots, small dilated blood vessels called telangiectasias; and skin textural changes such as small lines and enlarged pores.

Q & A about IPL Rejuvenation Treatments

Q: How does light - based technology work?
A: Light based technology is based on a method called "selective photothermolysis", which works by selective destruction of a specified target without damaging surrounding tissue. When treating textural complaints such as fine wrinkles and large pores, the light stimulates the growth of collagen which makes the skin glow and look more youthful.
Q: Are IPL treatments painful?
A: No. During the procedure, a light, momentary stinging sensation may be felt, but not pain.
Q: How many treatments are required?
A: The typical regimen is an average of 5 treatment sessions, spaced 4 weeks apart.
